Empathy is the ability to place oneself in another person's shoes or situation.  In my experience, effective fundraising communications - whether a grant, case statement, annual report, direct mail appeal, email marketing piece, social media strategy, acknowledgement letter, Op-Ed, etc. - they all require great storytelling, and the ability to meticulously choose each word to place the reader in the shoes of the clients you serve.

My Experience:

With over 20 years’ experience in nonprofit management, fundraising and grant writing for a wide range of organizations, I have seen what works and what has not, and I am here to guide you.  I have raised and managed millions of dollars for various nonprofit organizations, and  my mission is to offer you affordable, strategic, and targeted support for your development needs.  

My Leadership:

In 2017, I co-founded the Grant Professionals Association's (GPA) San Diego County Chapter, and currently serve as the Chapter's Vice President.  

 

I am also a member of the North County Philanthropy Council, and currently serve as a mentor in the Mentor/Mentee Program.

In addition, I am a member of the
San Diego Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and have recently served on the Resource Development Committee.
